The Sun-Speckled Terrace is the first area Captain Olimar explores in his Shipwreck Tale.
Plot[edit]
Captain Olimar lands in the Sun-Speckled Terrace to find any missing parts for his ship, the S.S. Dolphin. He manages to find seven of his missing pieces along with the discovery of Red and Yellow Pikmin. The Pikmin help him in the collection of his ship parts and fending off dangerous creatures.
Layout[edit]
The layout of the Sun-Speckled Terrace in Olimar's Shipwreck Tale is almost identical to that of the area in the main story. The major differences are the objects and enemies present, along with the cave entrances and the body of water south of the Rugged Scaffold base not being present. The upper section of the area, where the Distant Summit base is located in the main story, is inaccessible during Olimar's exploration in the area.

Trivia[edit]
- The Rugged Scaffold base is the only base that is required to be unlocked to beat the game, not including bases that are unlocked at the start, due to the required night expedition there.
- The Sun-Speckled Terrace contains the most regular caves in a single area, with 5.
