The Buddy Display is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a framed photograph of two dogs. This treasure is one of few to elicit a comment from Collin when it is first discovered.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Buddy Display is sitting atop a set of books on the desk along the central east part of the Hero's Hideaway. It is guarded by a Miniature Snootwhacker, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 20 Pikmin at it.

Notes[edit]

Schnauz's notes[edit]

This device not only stores but also displays images from the distant past. And there's something about the image frozen on the screen now. The two friendly creatures pictured there are...familiar...somehow. Try as I might, I can't quite put my finger on it.

Olimar's notes[edit]

What mysterious and fluffy creatures. I can't find evidence of them in any of the existing creature databases, but there's something familiar about them. It's almost as if I've met them before... I guess I'll chalk it up to an ancient memory that's been imprinted on my genome.

Louie's notes[edit]

I'd like to take a ride on either of these creatures.

Collin's dialogs[edit]

The creatures depicted over here... Don't they kind of look like Oatchi?
