Appears in | N/A |
Scientific name | 'Himeagea mandibulosa' |
Family | Mandiblard |
Areas | The Forest of Hope, The Forest Navel, Awakening Wood |
Attacks | None |
Unlike their opposing gender, the females cannot attack the Captains, nor Pikmin. This is due to the lack of powerful jaws. That, along with the light pink colour, make the most distinctive differences between the males and females.
These creatures are also related to the Shearwig.
Killing strategies
Pikmin 1
Female Sheargrubs are cannon fodder and can be defeated with ease by either the Pikmin or Olimar. There is no threat at all. Leading them into water will also deplete their health.
Pikmin 2
No changes. Same as in Pikmin 1, if there is a body of water nearby, lead them in and drown them.
