Silver Lake Remix is a Mission Mode stage in Pikmin 3. It is a remixed version of the Silver Lake stage, and is playable in the Collect Treasure! mode only. In the original Pikmin 3, it was released as downloadable content on October 1st, 2013, while in Pikmin 3 Deluxe, it is part of the base game and can be unlocked by completing the first 5 Mission Mode stages.

Suggestions:

  • Add an Overview and Key sections sections, like on the area article policy.
  • Add guides.
  • List what maturity each Pikmin starts at on the infobox.

Layout

The overall layout of the original Silver Lake remains unchanged. The 2 explorers, Alph and Charlie, start out in the same area as they did before. Nearby is the SPERO, a Juicy Gaggle, and a pile of Nuggets, as well as a group of 20 Red Pikmin. South of the starting point is a Large crystal holding another Juicy Gaggle. Nearby is a circular room closed off by an electric gate, which holds Brittany, as well as 15 White Pikmin and a buried Citrus Lump and a Dapper Blob.

Continuing down the path, a small pile of Nuggets along with a Large crystal blocking the path can be seen. Further down the path is another pile of Nuggets, and eventually a Dirt wall. This Dirt wall blocks off a small peninsula of snowy terrain, and contains a Golden Sunseed. On both sides of the peninsula are piles of Nuggets, one of which is encased in crystal, while another is slightly buried. Watch out for a nearby Medusal Slurker, who may cause trouble for the Pikmin. Straight ahead of the peninsula is an elevated area containing 10 Rock Pikmin. A leader must be thrown from the starting area in order to obtain those Pikmin.

At the end of the path is a large cluster of treasures. The player will walk directly under an Insect Condo hanging from a tree branch, and it must be weighed down. Atop the spiral figure is now a pile of Fragments, used to complete the brown bridge nearby. To the far north of the path is a pile of Nuggets in a Large crystal, and directly next to that is a bunch of 20 Dusk Pustules. In the same area is 10 more Rock Pikmin. For easy access to this area, a Geyser nearby the peninsula needs to be activated.

Past the small brown bridge is another small area filled with treasures. Immediately ahead is a pile of red fragments, which is used to complete the bridge back to the SPERO. Nearby that is a pile of Nuggets encased in crystal, and a Citrus Lump on a rock. Beware, as an Arctic Cannon Larva is nearby and will attempt to shoot balls of snow at any nearby Pikmin. Beyond that creature is another room closed off by an electric gate. In that room is a plethora of treasures, topped with 5 Purple Pikmin. The Purple Pikmin should be used to collect the Tremendous Sniffer and the Golden Sunseed in the Large crystal, and others should collect the Dusk Pustules.

Directly west of that area is the area that was formerly covered in water. Now, it contains many treasures, consisting of a Dapper blob, a Citrus Lump, an Insect Condo, and a Golden Sunseed. Nearby is a Calcified Crushblat, which is guarding 10 planted Yellow Pikmin. Near the other treasures are 2 Arctic Cannon Larvae. Going south will lead back to the main area, and then going east wields a small area. This small area is home to a Medusal Slurker, holding 10 more Yellow Pikmin, and a buried Dapper Blob and Golden Grenade. Southwest of that area is the area with the SPERO.
