The Juicy Gaggle (キーチゴノミ?, lit.: "Raspberry") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a raspberry. These fruits produce only half a bottle of juice (a quarter in Ultra-Spicy mode), identical to a Cupid's Grenade, but are often found in groups. There are four of them total in Pikmin 3's story mode, but are more common in Mission Mode, appearing many times despite only being worth Poko × 20. In Pikmin 4, they can be found multiple times both aboveground and in caves.

Collecting the fruit[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Twilight River[edit]

In the Twilight River, a group of three Juicy Gaggles are behind a body of water in a cave containing three Water Dumples and a blue 10 pellet. As such, it is recommended to bring Blue Pikmin. While Winged Pikmin can collect the fruit too, this is risky because there is an Arachnode above the entrance to the area with the fruits and can be hard to see due to the cave's darkness. If Winged Pikmin are used, the Arachnode must be killed or the Winged Pikmin will get stuck in its web and drop the fruit, but Blue Pikmin will walk under the web and won't get stuck at all. Bomb rocks can also be used to kill the Arachnode. This is the only place in Story Mode where multiple of the same type of fruit are found next to each other, which makes these fruits effectively function as a single fruit with 3 parts.

Tropical Wilds[edit]

Juicy Gaggle
Location of the Juicy Gaggle in the Tropical Wilds.

In the Tropical Wilds, a Juicy Gaggle is inside a Medusal Slurker which is hidden inside a tree stump, accessible via seesaw blocks. Have one leader go on the northern platform, and throw some Pikmin to the ledge the seesaw block rises up to. Then throw at least two Yellow Pikmin on the Bouncy Mushroom using a different leader. Switch to the now raised leader, and have them take at least one Pikmin to destroy the Spotcaps blocking the path to a hole in the tree stump, and then jump in the hole. Then proceed to defeat the Medusal Slurker. It is recommended to bring Rock Pikmin, as they can defeat it quickly.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

Serene Shores[edit]

There is a Juicy Gaggle on a ledge near the very north of the overworld, west of center. There is a Hydro Dweevil underneath it that must be defeated before collecting it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 1 Pikmin at it.

Engulfed Castle[edit]

A Juicy Gaggle is lying in a puddle of water near the southwestern corner of sublevel 1 of the Engulfed Castle, stabbed by an Ice Sword. It is guarded by a Fiery Blowhog and a Pyroclasmic Slooch, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 1 Pikmin at it, which will make it detach from the Ice Sword.

Cavern for a King[edit]

A Juicy Gaggle is lying inside of a half-broken pail in the northwestern corner of sublevel 19 of the Cavern for a King, next to a Sunseed Berry. To collect this treasure, you must throw 1 Pikmin at it.

Notes

Brittany's notes

Finally! Something on this planet that isn't gigantic! These little red globes are the perfect size for Koppaite hands, and the juice inside makes a good meal. I bet these'll be a lunch-box favorite back home.

Schnauz's notes[edit]

What a charming fruit this is! If it had a personality, I'd say it was "cute and bubbly." Such a vibrant and passionate color too. There's just so much to love here. But like love itself, this fruit is delicate, so treat it with care!

Olimar's notes[edit]

Numerous pockets of juice clustered around a hollow interior...much like memories—both sweet and sour—that burst with meaning yet still cannot fill that empty place in one's heart. Gazing upon this fruit always fills me with regret.

Louie's notes[edit]

Pull off juice pockets one by one, and sip their contents. Macerate the remaining fruit with sugar, and enjoy on top of ice cream or yogurt.

Trivia[edit]

The result of combining Juicy Gaggle and Zest Bomb juice.
  • If the player obtains a Juicy Gaggle and a Zest Bomb consecutively such that both juices are combined into the same bottle, the result will be an unusual cyan color, as explained here.
