The Snack Bean (オツマメ^?, lit.: "Snack Bean") is a treasure in Pikmin 4 that can be found overground in the Sun-Speckled Terrace and Giant's Hearth. It is actually a peanut.

Sun-Speckled Terrace

Once at the northwestern section of the area, entered by clearing the Aquiferous Summit, you can drop down from the Porquillion battle arena to the west onto a bag full of dirt. The Snack Bean is buried right next to it inside of a flower pot to the west.

Giant's Hearth

There is a Snack Bean half-buried near the southwestern corner of the grill at the center of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must throw 2 Blue Pikmin at it, or 2 Pikmin if the clay valve has been constructed and the sprinklers have been turned off. The nearby Masterhops should be dealt with first, although it's not strictly necessary.
