- This article is about the white grapes in Pikmin 3. For the red grapes, see Dusk Pustules.
The Dawn Pustules (ミドリタワワ?, lit.: "Green Abundance") are fruits in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. Each fruit consists of a bunch of individual white muscat grapes. Two of the fruit are found in Pikmin 3's Story Mode: in the Distant Tundra and the Tropical Wilds. The Dawn Pustules, along with their counterpart, the Dusk Pustules, are unique in the way that they are obtained in Pikmin 3: they are collected like fragments, being individually plucked, with Pikmin returning to the cluster until all fruits have been collected. In Pikmin 4 the entire cluster is just one object, and it appears in the Serene Shores and The Mud Pit.
Collecting the fruit

Distant Tundra
Location of the Dawn Pustules in the Distant Tundra.
The Dawn Pustules in the Distant Tundra are found on a plateau with two Swooping Snitchbugs to the southeast of the landing site. A climbing stick must be built for the Pikmin so they can return to the Dawn Pustules, and the Swooping Snitchbugs – along with a Joustmite and a Fiery Blowhog – must be defeated in order to let the Pikmin safely collect the grapes.
Tropical Wilds
Location of the Dawn Pustules in the Tropical Wilds.
The Dawn Pustules in the Tropical Wilds are next to a reinforced wall across a body of water. Destroying this wall, along with destroying another reinforced wall next to the landing site, building the red bridge across the water, and defeating a Whiptongue Bulborb are necessary for collecting these Dawn Pustules efficiently.
Collecting the treasure

Serene Shores
There is a cluster of Dawn Pustules submerged underwater in the southern part of the easternmost body of water in the overworld, next to a Zest Bomb. It is guarded by a Pricklepuff and four Puckering Blinnows, which should be defeated before attempting to collect this treasure. To collect this treasure, you must throw 7 Pikmin at it.
The Mud Pit
There is a cluster of Dawn Pustules inside of a Blizzarding Blowhog in the southeastern island of sublevel 2 of The Mud Pit. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Blizzarding Blowhog, then throw 15 Pikmin at it.
Notes
Brittany's notes
US version
“These little spheres have it all: smooth skin, delicious juice, a nice smell... They're almost perfect, except that exact shade of green is the captain's, like, favorite color of all time. He painted his room, his fingernails, and (I heard) even his dog this color. Bleh.”
European version
“In colour and shape, these remind me of the Captain in his stupid green suit. Lots of little Captains! Eugh. Luckily, the resemblance ends there. Smooth skin, subtle scent, refined taste. Not like the Captain at all, then!”
Schnauz's notes
“It's difficult to say which aspect of this fruit is more charming—its pretty emerald color or how easy it is to share with friends. Thankfully, you don't have to choose. Simply gaze upon the gorgeous green hue as you share its many orbs at a party.”
Olimar's notes
“This fruit comes in bunches, so you can keep eating them and never run out! A single berry satisfies my appetite, but I'm grateful to live in a universe with such natural abundance.”
Louie's notes
“Don't waste your time peeling these. The texture of the fruit is soft and plump, but the skin adds a nice crunch.”
