This article is about the creature. For the biological family, see Centipare family.

Centipares (ムカデトンボ?, lit.: "Centipede Dragonfly") are docile creatures in Hey! Pikmin that resemble dragonflies. They have skinny pink bodies with light-blue eyes, and their length is about four times that of Captain Olimar. They float through the air in a fixed pattern, and Olimar and Pikmin can land on top of one to ride on its back. By staying on one for a while, the player can cover new ground.
