The Mysterious Carriage (バシャノミ?, lit.: "Carriage Fruit") is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a pumpkin, and is found overground in the Sun-Speckled Terrace, and inside the Cavern for a King.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Sun-Speckled Terrace

The Mysterious Carriage is located right next to the Trial Run cave in the overworld. Lower the board by using 10 Yellow Pikmin or Winged Pikmin to pull on the handle, and then walk across. Get 30 Pikmin to carry it to the S.S. Beagle. For faster retrieval, move the S.S. Beagle to the Meandering Slope base. To get to the section with the Trial Run in the first place, you will have to defeat a Bulborb and some Male Sheargrubs along the path, or risk losing many Pikmin during the bridge's construction.

Primordial Thicket

There is a Mysterious Carriage inside of the Gildemander roaming around the center of sublevel 13 of the Cavern for a King. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Gildemander and destroy the nearby toxic sticky mold, then throw 30 Pikmin at it.

Notes

Schnauz's notes

I understand that ancient literature from this planet tells of a noblewoman who used this fruit's rind as a carriage. Clever! Additional lore tells of some sort of midnight deadline and missing footwear. Literature is complicated.

Olimar's notes

Large...and the size is right for retrofitting into some sort of vehicle... maybe a carriage? But then what do you do with all the goopy insides? Flippantly throw them out the window as you roll away in your fancy new transport? Never! I am vehemently opposed to wasting food.

Louie's notes

Scoop out the flesh and bake to elicit a fruity, sweet flavor.
