What sort of online capability would you most like to see in a Pikmin game?
- Multiplayer in Story Mode
- Multiplayer in cooperative side modes
- Multiplayer in competitive side modes
- Custom stage sharing

- (Nominator:) people definitely want online things, but WHICH online things? I don't have any idea for options yet, but maybe this poll will be interesting. — {EspyoT} 04:15, 16 September 2015 (EDT)

- Online Multi Player, Online Bingo Battle/Two Player Battle, Online story (i mentioned this above) and finally, online stage share, (make satges using sand box then, share online) Pikifan4 (talk) 14:34, 27 January 2016 (EST)
- Hm, I'm not too sure about these options. Three of them are pretty much the same option. I like the idea of choosing between something like multiplayer and content sharing, but the more I think about it, the more I don't think this will work well. Everyone will want to be able to play real-time multiplayer. Something like custom stage sharing implies custom stage creation, which is an entire can of worms in and of itself. — {EspyoT} 11:51, August 9, 2021 (EDT)

- Not many fans will know about the unused features. Of course, this can help bring attention to them, but the fans's feelings will still be limited regardless. Then, there's the fact that we still don't know much about the unused content and mechanics. There's still a lot left to discover right now, and even the contents in this list aren't entirely known. The "false" Candypop Bud might just be how the Candypop Bud works internally, if it is not set up properly, as opposed to being a new object that was meant to kill your Pikmin. The Bubble Blowhog could just be a new version of the plain old Watery Blowhog. The poison geyser is already an old thing, so I can't see how that one would be exciting whatsoever. I'm just not feeling this poll at all. Maybe one day in the distant future, when unused P3 content is much better understood, and more popular. — {EspyoT} 07:38, 30 January 2017 (EST)
- Seconding Espyo on this one; it's just too obscure. That being said, there could potentially be new content in Pikmin 3 Deluxe, but for now, I don't think this would be too interesting. 1337Walrus (talk) 06:44, December 1, 2020 (EST)

- While an unused features poll would be fun for nerds like me who explore unused content and mechanics, I doubt the "average" Pikmin fan/player will even know about any of these things. I have to agree with Espyo that I think it would just be too obscure to get many responses from the community. Midnight blue (talk) 18:17, August 28, 2021 (EDT)
How do you think Pikmin DLC has been handled?
- ...
Support
- (Nominator:) A friend of mine suggested this. This could be used to gauge if people think Pikmin 3's DLC is greedy, quite generous with its pricing, a bit weird with its free stage offers, etc. But we'll have to think about the options carefully. — {EspyoT} 18:29, 10 April 2017 (EDT)

What do you feel about Pikmin's time limit?
- It's very stressful and short.
- It's not stressful, but it is short.
- It's stressful, but fair.
- It's nothing special.
- It's too forgiving.
Support
- (Nominator:) On the Pikmin Discord, we were discussing why some people find the time limit to be "hard". It occurred to me that we can just ask the community at large. With these options, I'm mostly trying to gauge the stress factor and the time constraint's fairness. We can probably add more options to further gauge what players find "hard". — {EspyoT} 10:35, 13 June 2017 (EDT)
- I think this is a good poll idea because it requires some thought and answers a useful question. Pikmin's time limit is controversial, and I think a poll like this would be interesting for that reason. — Soprano(talk) 19:43, November 10, 2020 (EST)

- The game may be over a decade old, but as players like myself learn how to play more efficiently, they would see their opinions on the game's difficulty and time limit change (for example, I struggled to make it to the Forest Navel as a kid, but now my best run in the game is 12 days.) I wouldn't think this poll could achieve any concrete entries as many who have played Pikmin 1 in the past would probably find it much easier or even harder today. |\|TechnoMan|/| (talk) 21:13, 18 July 2017 (CDT)

- There's a lot of options, I'm not sure we really need that many for this question. "It's nothing special" especially seems unnecessary. — Bossclips(talk) 13:14, November 30, 2020 (EST)

Comments
- Perhaps this question could be reworked, so instead of being "What Pikmin 1/2 area would you most like to see remastered using Pikmin 3's engine?", it could be "What area would you most like to see brought back and updated in a future Pikmin game?". That way it wouldn't be so unrealistic, and could also cover Pikmin 3 areas. Though, the resulting poll would have a lot of options. Perhaps some of the areas in Pikmin and their Pikmin 2 counterparts could be combined in the poll options. — Soprano(talk) 01:36, August 26, 2021 (EDT)

What has been your favorite April Fool's Day joke so far?

- (Nominator:) We've had a few jokes so far, and they're all very varied. We could check and see which one people liked the most. - This poll idea is quite limited in its scope to people who actively use Pikipedia and have done so for years. - — Bossclips(talk) 13:14, November 30, 2020 (EST)
- I feel like this is a question that's too obscure; only people who have been using the wiki for years (and actually like/care about the jokes) would give meaningful responses. Unless you want to include an option along the lines of "I don't really like April Fool's jokes" Midnight blue (talk) 18:42, August 28, 2021 (EDT)
Comments
- I like this idea. This is the first time (as I know of) that the poll has been based off the wiki, and not the games, which does add more variety. It may even help us make better April Fool's jokes by reflecting back on old ones. My only opposition is I think only editors and frequent readers of the wiki (which is pretty hard to measure) will probably vote or understand what it even is. However, it might encourage readers to actually read April Fool's articles, and then they might vote. Still, I'm not sure if readers will care enough to read all the articles at once just to vote. Regardless, I would like this happen and it would be fun to see! &mdash CrazyCow 21:03, 7 April 2019 (EDT)

- Emperor Bulblax

- (Nominator:) Since we did Pikmin types, why not do Bulborbs? We dont have any polls around enemies (that I know of), so this can be cool and unique. The Bulborb is also as recognizable as the Pikmin themselves, and are part of the biggest family in the series (grub-dog). This also includes Bulblaxes and Bulbears, but we can get rid of them if there are too many options. I also think Bulborb Larvae are too similar to Dwarf Bulborbs (same with Dwarf Bulbears) even though they're technically grub-dogs. — CrazyCow October 1, 2019

- While I'm genuinely interested to see the collective speculation on this topic, I feel like it might just spark unnecessary heated debate amongst fans. The state of the next game in the series/the series as a whole seems to be up in the air. Midnight blue (talk)

- We know from some places that Miyamoto has said the game is coming. But then nothing ever happened. A lot of fans are upset about this, and we'd just be reminding them. Plus, giving them a way in which to passive-aggressively point out Miyamoto lied, and how he lied, isn't exactly the healthiest thing we could do in this community. - I don't think it's fair to compare the design of stages from a 2D puzzle-ish side scroller to those of 3D real-time strategy games. They're naturally going to be designed differently to suit their respective gameplay styles (and limitations of the hardware.) But since Hey Pikmin doesn't have any peers in the series, there's not really anything close you can compare it to. So I'm not sure on this one. Midnight blue (talk) 18:55, August 28, 2021 (EDT)

I figured this question to be across the whole series, so I guess it is kinda redundant in the area of P3DX, but maybe some people's opinions differ between games?
