The Fiery Dwarf Bulblax (ヤキコチャッピー?, lit.: "Sizzling Young Chappy") is an enemy in Hey! Pikmin. It is similar to the Fiery Bulblax from Pikmin 2, in that it chases after and eats Pikmin, its back is on fire, and it has a melted appearance. It is much larger than other dwarf mimics and does not have teeth. Because of its fiery back, it can only be defeated with Red Pikmin.

Defeating a Dwarf Fiery Bulblax is a relatively simple ordeal. Throwing at least a handful of will dispatch the creature fairly quickly. However, while it is moving, it will leave behind a trail of fire. It can also very quickly eat pikmin; 2 at a time.

Notes

Hey! Pikmin logs

This creature's back is perpetually burning, so it leaves a trail of fire wherever it goes. I wonder how those bulging eyes keep from getting cooked sunny-side up. Now that's a matter worth researching.
