The shellusk family is a family of species that appears in Hey! Pikmin only. So far, this family is made of one species, the Starnacle.

The Starnacle is an aquatic creature, made of three tentacles placed around a green eye. His main purpose is blocking underwater passages. To get rid of it, Olimar just has to throw a Pikmin in its eye, making the Starnacle retract its tentacles. It only lasts for a short amount of time, before this creature regains its original position.
