Bridge

Bridges are a common obstacles in the Pikmin series. They are found as a pile of wood on one side of a gap or body of water, which Pikmin can be set to work on. Doing so will cause the wood to be constructed into a bridge that spans the obstruction. In Pikmin 2, there is a bridge that is surrounded by poison, similarly to the way in which some gates are. This one can only be built by White Pikmin.After they make a few segments of the bridge, they can destroy the pipes which emit poison so oter pkimin can work on it. Bridges appear above ground only.

A number of glitches are associated with bridges, generally involving Pikmin or enemies getting stuck in or under them.
