Pinotta family
The pinotta family is a family that appears in Hey! Pikmin only. So far, this family is made of only one species, the Stuffed Bellbloom.

Stuffed Bellbloom

The Stuffed Bellbloom is an enemy that appears in Hey! Pikmin one time only. It's a big yellow creature that stands on four legs. It doesn't have any facial features, but it has brown spots on its front. It will repeatedly jump forward, while making a jingling noise. As the player attacks it, it releases lots of Sparklium Seeds from its back. After it dies, it will drop the Fond-o-Sphere.
Naming
The name "Pinotta" sounds very similar to "pinata", a decorated animal or object that when you break spills out candy. This could be referring to how members of the family are full of Sparklium Seeds, and the seeds eventually spill out, just like how candy spills out of pinatas.
