I think we should start putting this on new users' userpages, so that they feel welcomed and are likely to stay longer. - Greenpickle(talk) 18:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Maybe, but perhaps add a little more to the header; something like: "Welcome to Pikipedia, a Wiki with information regarding Pikmin. The administration is enthralled to see you have registered, and have provided some helpful links to get you familiarize you to rules, regulations, and other such facilities."

(something in that ball-park)-Me_just_in

That sounds good. I laughed at 'enthralled'...

Okay, how about:

'''Welcome'''

Hello, {{PAGENAME}}, and welcome to Pikipedia, a Wiki with information regarding
Pikmin. The administration thanks you for registering, and has provided some useful
links to help familiarize yourself with rules, regulations and other such facilities.
We hope you like the place and decide to stay.

This produces:

Updated. Now, I think we should start putting this on new users' userpages, so that they feel welcomed and are likely to stay longer. - Greenpickle(talk) 19:06, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
