- Main article: Tusked Blowhog.
Scientific name: Sus magdentum
The Tusked Blowhog is an enemy introduced in Pikmin 4. When something catches its attention, it will charge, in a similar way to Oatchi's Rush. During its charge, it can grab up to 3 Pikmin, which it will eat at the end of its charging. Its charges can also destroy jars.
Naming
- See also: Blowhog family#Naming.
The family's name is named after its only member: the Tusked Blowhog.
The genus Sus is a real genus of wild and domestic pigs which is what the Tusked Blowhog resembles. This genus is also shared with all the members of the blowhog family due to fact that they all also resemble pigs.
