The heavil family is a family of species introduced in Pikmin 3, although the family went unclassified until Hey! Pikmin. This family is made of two species, which are known for their throwing abilities.
Members
Flatterchuck

Flatterchucks are flat creatures that only appear in Hey! Pikmin. They are harmless; they only jump if Olimar and/or Pikmin stand on them. If nothing is on it, it will remain static. When they jump, they throw upwards anything that is on top of them.
Skutterchuck
- Main article: Skutterchuck.
Skutterchucks are creatures that appear in Pikmin 3, Pikmin 4 and Hey! Pikmin. They are harmful enemies that can launch crystal nodules at Pikmin and crush them. Only Rock Pikmin are immune to those attacks.
