The dandelfly family is a family of peaceful dragonfly-like enemies introduced in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. It has one member, the Nectarous Dandelfly.
All members of this family are in the Anisopterid genus.
Members
Nectarous Dandelfly

The Nectarous Dandelfly is a harmless enemy in Pikmin 3. It hovers in the air until it is hit with a Pikmin, in which it flies off and leaves multiple drops of nectar.
Naming
"Dandelfly" is a combination of "dandle", which means "gently rocking up and down", and "fly", since it is a family of bugs that gently moves up and down while flying.
