Main article: Mitite.

Scientific name: Mitivius infiltratus

The Mitite is a harmless enemy featured in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 4. In both games, they have a chance to spawn in either eggs or underground. Once active, the Mitite will cause all Pikmin, with the exception of Purple Pikmin to panic. Exclusive to Pikmin 4, Oatchi will also panic at the sight of Mitites.

Naming

The family name, Mitite, is a reference to the real-world arachnid mite.
