Fruit (Pikmin Bloom)

Fruits are items in Pikmin Bloom. They can be found on expeditions or mushroom challenges, or picked up by Pikmin while walking, and they give the player nectar when collected. There are many different types of fruits, and they can be sorted into 3 categories based on how they are obtained.

Small fruits

This article or section needs to be updated. Notes: Update with the new amounts of nectar these fruits provide, now that nectar amounts have been multiplied by 1.5.

Pikmin in the player's squad can randomly pick up small fruits nearby by themselves. Walking increases the chance of this happening. Each Pikmin can hold 1 fruit, and by tapping the Pikmin (either on the map screen or the garden screen), the fruit will be collected. Each fruit collected in this way produces a small amount of nectar of a specific type, with the type and amount of nectar being determined by the type of fruit.

These fruits can also be obtained through low scores in some types of mushroom challenges. In this case, they will provide nectar of the listed color of a different species of flower.

Large fruits

The following article or section is in need of assistance from someone who plays Pikmin Bloom. Particularly: Confirm the amount of nectar each fruit can provide.

These fruits can be collected on expeditions. The player can select a fruit from the list of available expeditions, and assign Pikmin to go and collect it. All fruits have a weight of 6 weight units, and up to 12 Pikmin can be sent to carry them. Once the Pikmin are back, the fruit can be collected in the garden screen, and will give the player a good amount of nectar. The types of nectar listed are the normal types each fruit provides, but in some situations, such as if the fruit is produced by blooming a Big Flower, it can give nectar from a different species of flower (though the color will be the same).

These fruits can also be obtained through mushroom challenges. In this case, they may provide rare nectar of the listed color, rather than basic nectar.

These fruits are the only ones to have names stated in-game, through the expedition menu.

Giant fruits

These fruits are only obtainable by getting very high scores on mushroom challenges, scores so high that they are impossible to reach with only one player. They give lots of nectar as a reward. The flower species of the nectar provided can vary.

In addition, there is one final type of fruit, the special fruit. This gives 1 special nectar when collected, and is obtained in the same way as giant fruits.
