In this page, I will post everything related to background information in the Pikmin series (rests from the human civilization, for example). I will try to classify them (decorations, machines, and so...). Note ; sometimes, some items that appeared as treasures in a previous game appeared as decorations in another game, and vice-versa. I will often post oher things that are not related to background information in order to make comparisons.

Christmas decorations

These appear in the Fortress of Festivity, in Pikmin 3.

Gifts

A gift appears as a collectible treasure in Pikmin 2 : the Joy Receptacle. In Pikmin 3, there are a few gifts that appear in the Fortress of Festivity : they aren't collectible. Here are a few montages showing these gifts :

Stockings

Two stockings appear in the Fortress of Festivity. A stocking called Icon of Progress can also be found in Pikmin 2.

Utensils

Plates appear in Pikmin 2. They appear in the Glutton's Kitchen. Forks, knives and spoons appear in Pikmin 3, more precisely in the Fortress of Festivity.

Sieves

Sieves appear in Pikmin 3 in the Forgotten Cove, Arid Metropolis or Sandpit Kingdom.

Screwdrivers

Screwdrivers appear in Pikmin 3.

Shovels appear in Pikmin 3 and Pikmin Short Movies.

Springs

Springs appear in Pikmin and Pikmin 2 as collectibles. InPikmin 3, they appear as decoration elements.

Gutters, manholes and sewers

Gutters can be found in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3. Manholes and sewers are found in Pikmin 3 only.

Light bulbs

In Pikmin 2, there's a collectible light bulb called the Stellar Orb. In Pikmin 3, they are used to light caves.

Tiles, fabric, carpets and other patterns.

Bolts

Bolts are found in Pikmin, Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3.

Plates

Plates appear in Pikmin 2. They appear in the Glutton's Kitchen.

Food containers and Ramune bottles.

Food containers

Food containers appear in Pikmin 2 as treasures and in Pikmin 3 as decoration.

Ramune bottles

Ramune bottles appear in The Forest Navel in Pikmin and Treasure in a Bottle in Pikmin Short Movies.

Drawings are found in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3.

Wooden trees and statues

Flowerpots

Flowerpots are found in the Shaded Terrace, Blooming Terrace, Garden of Hope and Beastly Caverns. They are either full of flowers or empty.

Instruments

Instruments appear in Pikmin 2, more precisely in the Glutton's Kitchen.

Gloves

Gloves appear in Pikmin 2 (as collectible treasures), in Pikmin 3, and Pikmin Short Movies.

Edible

Traffic items

In Pikmin 3 and Pikmin Short Movies, it's possible to find traffic gates and traffic cones.
