Special Decor Pikmin are Decor Pikmin in Pikmin Bloom that are obtained through events or other specific actions, rather than the regular method of raising a Pikmin's friendship to 4 hearts. They are signified with the Special Decor icon, and can only be obtained by growing a Huge Seedling or a Gold Seedling.
Mario Hat[edit]
This Decor Pikmin wears a replica of Mario's signature red cap, with a keyring attached to the end.
- A Huge Seedling for this Decor Pikmin can be obtained when the player links their Nintendo Account to the app. The seedling comes from Kyoto, Japan, specifically from Nintendo's headquarters, and the location is marked as "near Nintendo". This Decor Pikmin will always be a Blue Pikmin.
- From September 29th, 2022 to October 17th, 2023, Gold Seedlings for this Decor Pikmin could be obtained from Special Spots at Nintendo's flagship stores in Japan and New York City.

These Decor Pikmin wear ornaments with Chinese characters written on them, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin. There are two colors of ornaments, colored red and gold, with 14 total Decor Pikmin available. The two colors of ornaments were split into different "Lunar New Year Ornament: Red" and "Lunar New Year Ornament: Gold" categories on January 27th, 2024. Before they were split, all ornaments appeared under one "Lunar New Year Ornament" category.
