If the player leaves the [[Distant Tundra]] without collecting the Heroine's Tear, and then comes back with [[Winged Pikmin]], a [[glitch]] may occur. If Winged Pikmin are ordered to carry the fruit back, they will lift it up just a little bit too high to get through the exit to the cave in which the [[Vehemoth Phosbat]] is fought. They will get stuck right at this point, and while in this state they cannot be [[whistle]]d back. More Winged Pikmin can be added to the fruit, but this will do nothing. The fruit and the Pikmin will remain stuck for the rest of the day, and the item will not be able to be retrieved until the next day. | |||

Serene Shores[edit]
There is a Heroine's Tear completely buried at the northern part of the overworld near a ledge. To access it, the Engulfed Castle must be completed first to grant access to the northwestern part of the area; the treasure can then be found on the easternmost alcove, after a geyser. It can be located with the Treasure Gauge or by searching for treasure with Oatchi. It is guarded by a Hermit Crawmad, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 12 Pikmin in its vicinity.
Primordial Thicket[edit]
There is a Heroine's Tear engulfed in a sticky mold west of the center of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must clear out the mushrooms, causing the treasure to emerge from the ground. Then, throw 12 Pikmin at it.
Cavern for a King[edit]
There is a Heroine's Tear sitting atop a platform near the center of sublevel 19 of the Cavern for a King. To collect this treasure, you must throw 12 Pikmin at it. It can also be knocked down with a rush from Oatchi.
