Is this better than this one? It's bigger, but perhaps a bit too big?GP

Oh, you're doing quite a number of images, aren't you? I didn't think they all needed new pictures, just...some of them. Doesn't matter I guess. Anyway, no offense, but I do kind of think the previous picture was better. This newer one doesn't have the best angle, the eye is a little blurry, and it's zoomed so far that you can see all the HUD displays. ...The Red Bulborb image is great, though. —Jimbo Jambo
Yeah, that's what I thought, which is why I questioned it. The reason I got them was because I was just going through the game, and thought I may as well get a few. Please alert me to ones that specifically need better images.GP
Sure, I'm going through the enemies right now to double-check scientific names. Enemies I think could use better images are Orange Bulborb, Female Sheargrub, Male Sheargrub, Cloaking Burrow-nit, Mitite (taken at sunset, too orange), Hermit Crawmad (maybe, I just think it might be too small), Careening Dirigibug (again, maybe, it's not properly centered, but it has a nice angle), Antenna Beetle (also kinda small), Volatile Dweevil (too...explodey, I think, but that might have been a purposeful aesthetic choice, so I don't know what to say), Skitter Leaf (too orange, not centered), Unmarked Spectralids, Breadbug (kind of blurry and off-center, but it's not that bad), Emperor Bulblax (my disagreement with this one is purely aesthetic. I think the high angle makes it look tiny, and it doesn't show a lot of detail either. Try a lower angle? Also, could you get a shot from Pikmin 1?), Ranging Bloyster (not the best angle), Waterwraith (the background breaks up its outline. You might want to try a low-angle shot against the sky, maybe either in the Perplexing Pool or the Valley of Repose).
Also, the Pikmin 1 enemy pictures are all either demo images or Enemy Reel caps. Some actual in-game pictures would be nice. Could you take some pictures of plants too? In particular, the Clover, Fiddlehead, Foxtail (image is blurry and does not contrast with background. Try Valley of Repose), Glowstem (not high priority. Current image looks like a photo of a TV screen and is grayish and a bit blurred, but still shows gist of what it looks like. If you do end of taking another picture, try to get the red variety and put both images on the page), Horsetail (TV screen again. Looks too gray), Margaret, and Shoot. Also, if it's not too much trouble, maybe you could cap one of those orange figworts...I mean, if it'll fit on the page.
Sorry to leave you with such a hideously long list...I don't have a Wii, you see, so I can't do it myself. But some of the pictures are low priority, and most of them can be snapped directly from the Piklopedia, so you won't have to go trudging through caves to find things. You can just replace existing Piklopedia shots. Thanks a lot. —Jimbo Jambo
Green doesn't own Pikmin 1, and all the plants you just listed are my screenshots. 'Reason for that is my TV with a 35cm diagonal that is hit by the sun most of the day (as an example: File:Figwort Blue.JPG middle-right side). I'll see if our old DVD player has a recording function, but I have my doubts. Sorry, but it seems we're stuck with these for the moment.--Prezintenden
Also, you don't need a Wii, just some kind of capture device. I'll see to getting those sometime.GP
I thought you got Pikmin 1 recently. Didn't you say something like that in Bomb-rock Talk? Bah, anyway, could you give me the name of one such device? It would be fantastic if I could find it on Amazon or something. Might it work with an N64 too?
Oh, and the figwort picture really isn't that bad, but most of the other ones are kind of small and show little detail. Fortunately, the only plant whose appearance varies significantly from Pikmin 1 to Pikmin 2 probably has the best image out of those, so the rest can be snapped right from Pikmin 2 and the Piklopedia. —Jimbo Jambo

From talk:Bomb rock: I haven't got Pikmin 1, so I'll let someone else move the page.

...Anyway, I use a DVD recorder, which can in theory record anything you can see on your TV. A capture card is another option, but needs a computer to be close to the console.GP
