This is most likely due to the fact that this is just a special edition figure, and Olimar never is shown in these colors in-game. It is also the only Pikmin figure to have a design on the box, as opposed to being a solid color.

Pikmin Chibi holders
Pikmin 3 Deluxe rerelease
In 2014, Sanei released Pikmin Chibi Chibi holders, which can be used to hold things such as cell phones and wallets, or anything else around the house, in order to make it look like the Pikmin are carrying them. There were three sets of holders, each with three of one type of Pikmin. They consisted of Red, Yellow, or Blue Pikmin, and had leaf, flower, and bud variants.
In late 2021, Jakks Pacific released a reissue of their original collection of Pikmin figures, this time including every figure in one box. As of January 2022, this release is only known to be available in Canada, with further plans of distribution unknown. This release is solely branded to coincide with Pikmin 3 Deluxe, rather than the previous World of Nintendo branding. The figures contain minor differences, including the removal of the serial numbers on the backs of the Pikmin, and slightly different colors for Olimar.

The Pikmin in this volume are the same as the ones used in volume two. The three sets that contain three Red, Blue, or Yellow Pikmin come with a Pellet Posy of the same colour, instead of a Bulbmin as in volume two, or a Dwarf Red Bulborb as in volume one. As always, the set of five flower, bud, or leaf Pikmin doesn't come with anything else. White and Purple Pikmin come with a Fiery Blowhog or a Watery Blowhog. A set of Olimar, Louie, and President is also available; they are the same as the set from volume one and two. The three secret items are the Onions. This volume looks much more organic than volumes 1 or 2.

This is a list of officially-licensed Pikmin figures.

amiibo[edit]

Main article: amiibo.

amiibo are a line of interactive toys created by Nintendo, with the intent of being usable in some Nintendo games. They have functionality with a multitude of games on the Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo Switch systems.

The Olimar amiibo is part of the Super Smash Bros. series of amiibo, and can unlock some exclusive content in games. The amiibo itself shows Olimar, and three Pikmin, one of each of the basic types, just like the official Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U artwork.

The Pikmin amiibo is part of the Pikmin series of amiibo, and can unlock some exclusive content in games. The amiibo itself shows the Red, Yellow, Blue, Rock, and Winged Pikmin types resting on concrete, with some grass and a screw on the base of the figure.

World of Nintendo Pikmin figures[edit]

Jakks Pacific released a collection of Pikmin figures. They were released in sets of series, along with other Nintendo characters. All of the figures are approximately 6.4 cm tall. Text is written on the back of the boxes these figurines come in, describing each character respectively. These figures are not based on any game specifically, but feature art from Pikmin and Pikmin 3.

The main character of the game Pikmin. Captain Olimar crash lands on a mysterious planet after his spaceship malfunctions. In order to get off the planet, he must gather the pieces of his broken ship, but the atmosphere of the planet is poisonous to Olimar. As a result, he has to enlist the help of the native Pikmin. Features art from Pikmin. This is odd, because the figure itself has Olimar's visible whistle and the extra suit buttons, which he did not obtain until the third game.

(1-3)A type of Pikmin—which are odd beings who grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. Red ones are heat and fire resistant and are strong attackers, which makes them valuable when facing dangerous foes. Purple Pikmin are also tough fighters, but since it's difficult to increase their numbers, red Pikmin are easier to manage. Red Pikmin have distinct pointed noses.
(2-2) This Pikmin has a red body and a long, pointy nose. It was the first type of Pikmin Olimar ever met. They have the second highest attack power among the Pikmin. Like their fiery color suggests, they can attack with flames and withstand them.
Series 2-2 features slightly different packaging than Series 1-3, with differences in text positioning on the back, as well as different box text.

Blue Pikmin, as their name implies, are a blue species of Pikmin that reside on PNF-404. Besides coloration, these Pikmin are distinguishable from other Pikmin species by their mouths, a trait seen in no other Pikmin species. These mouths are used to take in water, which filters oxygen through gills located on their cheeks. This gives them the astonishing ability to live their lives completely underwater. Series 2-4 features slightly different packaging than Series 1-4, with differences in text positioning on the back.
5-Pack Series 1-3 contains the Blue Pikmin, as well as 4 other figures.
Yellow Pikmin Icon for the World of Nintendo Yellow Pikmin figure. Series 1-5 August 2015 A type of Pikmin. Take a nutrient-rich pellet to a flying saucer known as an Onion, and it will produce the mysterious beings known as Pikmin. Yellow ones fly higher than other Pikmin when tossed by Olimar or Louie. Unlike other Pikmin, they're also highly resistant to electricity, which makes them invaluable when battling enemies like anode dweevils.
Purple Pikmin Icon for the World of Nintendo Purple Pikmin figure. Series 1-6 November 2015 An uncommon Pikmin both ten times as heavy and ten times as strong at carrying objects as other Pikmin. When thrown, Purple Pikmin will cause a shockwave to occur on impact due to their weight. Purple Pikmin are slightly taller and noticably[sic] fatter than other Pikmin; additionally, they also have hair-like protrusions on their heads. The box contains a typo: "noticably" should be spelled "noticeably".
Prototype Olimar Icon for the World of Nintendo Prototype Olimar figure. Series 2-4 November 1st, 2016 The main character of the game Pikmin. Captain Olimar crash lands on a mysterious planet after his spaceship malfunctions. In order to get off the planet, he must gather the pieces of his broken ship, but the atmosphere of the planet is poisonous to Olimar. As a result, he has to enlist the help of the native Pikmin. Exclusive to Target. This is also the only figure that doesn't feature game art on the back, and instead just shows an image of the figure itself. This is most likely due to the fact that this is just a special edition figure, and Olimar is never shown in these colors in-game. It is also the only Pikmin figure to have a design on the box, as opposed to being a solid color.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe rerelease[edit]

In late 2021, Jakks Pacific released a reissue of their original collection of Pikmin figures, this time including every figure in one box. As of January 2022, this release is only known to be available in Canada, with further plans of distribution unknown. This release is solely branded to coincide with Pikmin 3 Deluxe, rather than the previous World of Nintendo branding. The figures contain minor differences, including the removal of the serial numbers on the backs of the Pikmin, and slightly different colors for Olimar.

Sanei Pikmin chibi-chibi stands[edit]

In 2014, Sanei released chibi stand figurines in the shape of Pikmin, which can be used to hold things such as cell phones, pictures or postcards, in order to make it look like the Pikmin are carrying the item. There are three bundles of chibi-chibi stands, each with three of one type of Pikmin. They consist of Red Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, or Blue Pikmin, and have leaf, bud, and flower variants, as well as being equipped with a suction cup. There was also a bundle released which contains one Pikmin per type.

Agatsuma Pikmin 2 figurines[edit]

Agatsuma has released three volumes of Pikmin toys to promote Pikmin 2. They were only released in Japan and were produced in randomly arranged sets.

 • The placement of Pikmin is, for some reason, always Red>Blue>Yellow>White>Purple, despite that being no order seen anywhere in Pikmin 2 or any other pieces of merchandise. This has been ignored and instead the focus on canonical order is on the sets as a whole.

The first volume of Agatsuma Pikmin figurines, released on May 17th, 2004.

Note
 • Every figurine in volume one, apart from the Red Bulborb, has seen a re-release, be it in either volume two or three.

Volume 2[edit]

Contains six of all five Pikmin types (two leaf, two bud and two flower), a Yellow Wollywog and Wogpole, the Dwarf Orange Bulborb, Dwarf Bulborb and Snow Bulborb, a Bulborb Larva, a Breadbug, three Bulbmin in the different stages of leaf, bud and flower, and finally, the regular Hocotate ship and its golden variant. The figurines are the same as in volume one, except instead of three Dwarf Red Bulborbs, there is a much larger variety of creatures. The Pikmin in this volume are completely identical to those used in volume one. These figures are not made of the same material that is used in volume 3; they are a much cheaper plastic and don't have individual poses - they just stand.

 • Set #10 is more common than set 11 and 12. Meaning that the buyer will get all previous sets plus either set 10, 11 or 12 in a case. Most likely this set.

Volume 3[edit]

The three sets that contain three Red, Blue, or Yellow Pikmin come with a Pellet Posy of the same color, instead of a Bulbmin as in volume two, or a Dwarf Red Bulborb as in volume one. As always, the set of five flower, bud, or leaf Pikmin doesn't come with anything else. White and Purple Pikmin come with a Fiery Blowhog or a Watery Blowhog. A set of Olimar, Louie, and the President is also available; they are the same as the sets from volume one. The three secret items are the Onions. This volume looks much more organic than volumes one and two.

 • Every volume three case guarantees at least one of the three Onions, meaning the secret Onion figurines are of less value than the secret ones found in volume one and two. Each case comes with ten individual boxes.

Takara Tomy Arts released a collection of Pikmin Swing Mascots in September of 2013. They are rubbery toys that can wiggle back and forth when shaken. They come in plastic pots with brown, grainy plastic made to look like dirt, however, it is advertised that the Pikmin can also be stuck into an earphone jack. They were sold in Japanese gashapon machines for 100 Yen per box. Each box came with two Pikmin, with the exception of Olimar, who came alone.
