Special Decor Pikmin are Decor Pikmin in Pikmin Bloom that are obtained through events or other specific actions, rather than the regular method of raising a Pikmin's friendship to 4 hearts. They are signified with the Special Special Decor icon, and can only be obtained by growing a Huge Seedling or a Gold Seedling.

Mario Hat

This Decor Pikmin wears a replica of Mario's signature red cap, with a keyring attached to the end.

  • A Huge Seedling for this Decor Pikmin can be obtained when the player links their Nintendo Account to the app. The seedling comes from Kyoto, Japan, specifically from Nintendo's headquarters, and the location is marked as "near Nintendo". This Decor Pikmin will always be a Blue Pikmin.

Lunar New Year Ornament: Gold

Red, Yellow, and Blue Decor Pikmin wear gold ornaments with a red 財 character, which signifies "wealth" or "fortune". Interestingly, although the color of the ornaments is gold for Purple, White, Rock, and Winged Pikmin, the character is the same as the red ornaments.

  • From January 21st to February 5th, 2023, during the 2023 Lunar New Year Event, Red, Yellow, and Blue Decor Pikmin of this type were available for the first time. They could be obtained from Gold Seedlings, which could be earned from a set of "Slightly Harder" limited time missions. These missions could be cleared alongside the event's "Easy" missions for Decor Pikmin with red ornaments.
  • From February 1st to February 25th, 2024, during the 2024 Lunar New Year Event, all types of these Decor Pikmin were available. This event introduced Purple, White, Rock, and Winged Decor Pikmin of this type. All 7 Decor Pikmin types could be obtained from Gold Seedlings, which could be earned from a set of limited time missions to collect Red Envelope Red Envelopes.

Chess Piece

These Decor Pikmin wear chess pieces on their head. Each Pikmin has a different chess piece, with both black and white chess pieces available.

  • From July 18th to July 31st, 2022, during the 2022 Chess Piece Decor Pikmin Event, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and White Decor Pikmin of this type were available for the first time. Yellow and Purple Pikmin had black chess pieces, and Blue and White had white chess pieces. They could be obtained from Huge and Gold Seedlings. Huge Seedlings, marked with the Special Special Decor icon, were discovered while walking, and Gold Seedlings could be earned through the completion of weekly challenges. Only one Huge Seedling for the event could be held at a time, but once it was plucked, another event Huge Seedling for the event could be discovered.
  • From November 14th to December 11th, 2022, the previously released Yellow, Blue, Purple, and White Chess Piece Decor Pikmin were available to obtain from Gold Seedlings, which could be earned from inviting friends.
  • From June 22nd to July 20th, 2023, during the 2023 Chess Piece Decor Pikmin Event, all types of these Decor Pikmin were available. This event introduced Red, Rock, and Winged Pikmin of this type, and new designs for all Pikmin types, with a total of 14 Decor Pikmin available to obtain. All 14 Decor Pikmin types could be obtained from Gold Seedlings, which could be earned by clearing Event Challenge missions and from inviting friends.

From September 5th, 2022 to February 13th, 2024, these Decor Pikmin were called "Flower Card". From February 14th, 2024 to December 8th, 2024 (update 109.0), these Decor Pikmin were called "Flower Card 2023".

  • On May 22nd, 2023, all 24 Flower Card Decor Pikmin carrying different cards were separated from each other and were now treated as unique. Before this day, just one Flower Card design for each Pikmin type counted as a complete collection.
  • From September 22nd, 2023 to October 1st, 2023, during the 2023 Flower Card Decor Pikmin Event, all Red and Purple Decor Pikmin of this type were available. They could be obtained from Huge and Gold Seedlings. Huge Seedlings, marked with the Special Special Decor icon, were discovered while walking, and Gold Seedlings could be earned from Special Completion Tickets. Only one Huge Seedling for the event could be held at a time, but once it was plucked, another event Huge Seedling for the event could be discovered.
  • Since October 1st, 2024, one Red Decor Pikmin of this type is permanently available. It can be obtained from a Gold Seedling, which can be earned from a Special Spot located at the Nintendo Museum. A Gold Seedling can be earned once every thirty days.[1]

The text on the stickers read "Happy Valentine's Day 2023", written in whatever language the player's in-game language was set to.

  • On May 22nd, 2023, these Decor Pikmin were separated from other Sticker Decor Pikmin and were now treated as unique.
  • On April 4th, 2024, Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin were removed from the Roadside category and became their own Winter Sticker category.[2]
