The mitite family is a family that first appeared in Pikmin 2, but went unidentified in English until Pikmin 4. It currently consists of a single, small pinkish insect-like creature with a white shell and six legs, the Mitite. The only known genus in this family is Mitivius, to which Mitite belongs.
