Sun-Speckled Terrace
Once at the northwestern section of the area, entered by clearing the Aquiferous Summit, you can drop down from the Porquillion battle arena to the west onto a bag full of dirt. The Snack Bean is buried right next to it inside of a flower pot to the west.
Giant's Hearth
There is a Snack Bean half-buried near the bottom left corner of the grill near the center of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must throw 2 Blue Pikmin at it, or 2 Pikmin if the clay valve has been constructed and the sprinklers have been turned off.

“I love how this stylish bean comes with its very own hard wrapper. It's as if it was made to be carried around and snacked on at a convenient time. It smells quite yummy too. Funnily enough, even thinking about having a bite makes me get quite thirsty.”
Olimar's notes
“I don't need any special tools to break open the shell, and the fruit inside is edible. Cracking these open is so satisfying that I find myself getting carried away and opening more than I could possibly eat. Note to self: work on moderation.”
