The Aspiration-Ritual Pole (ドリーム・キャッチャー?, lit.: "Dream Catcher") is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a kendama without the ball. On its base is a golden sticker reading "丸福? MARUFUKU".
Collecting the treasure
It is hanging from a cobweb near the center of Sublevel 2 of the Hectic Hollows in the Sun-Speckled Terrace. It is blocked by a nearby hydro jelly, meaning Ice Pikmin are required to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must first burst the hydro jelly, then throw 10 Pikmin at it while standing atop the tin can previously occupied by the hydro jelly.
Notes
Schnauz's notes
“This ritual pole was used during an ancient festival held at the start of each new year. If the ball landed on the sharp end, the people's wishes would come true and they would dance in celebration. Though it's commonly believed the people danced either way.”
Olimar’s Notes
“I'm so bemused by the idea of catching a dream, but it's difficult to achieve in practice. I still haven't been able to catch the ball with the spike upright. Perhaps I need to try an easier angle... But would that diminish the challenge and thus the quality of the dream?”
Louie’s Notes
“You may be able to poke something with the spiky part.”
