The mireclops family is a family of enormous creatures that resemble living chunks of earth introduced in Pikmin 3, although the family went unclassified until Pikmin 3 Deluxe. It contains only one member, the Quaggled Mireclops, which the family is named after. Members belong to the trestripods genus.

Quaggled Mireclops
- Main article: Quaggled Mireclops.
The Quaggled Mireclops is a gargantuan beast that is discovered and fought in a previously blocked-off section of the Garden of Hope after Louie escapes from the Koppaite explorers that saved him. The creature has three legs, each ending in a soft hoof. On top of its body is what can be best described as its head, which resembles a fruit, and on top of that are its three eyes. When first encountered, the Quaggled Mireclops is submerged in the mud making up the floor of the arena it is found in, disguised as a mass of land.
Naming
The family is named after its sole member, the Quaggled Mireclops. The name "Mireclops" is a portmanteau of the words "mire" and "clip-clop", suiting respectively where the creature is found and its hooved legs.
Members belong to the Trestripods genus, as the Quaggled Mireclops has three legs and "tripod" means "three legged". In addition, "tres" is Spanish for "three".
