The Shellter family is a family of enemies introduced in Hey! Pikmin. The only member of the family so far is the Crammed Wraith.
Members share the Tumidoculum genus.

Crammed Wraith

The Crammed Wraith is a hermit crab-like enemy found in Hey! Pikmin. When it notices Pikmin approaching, it will push them away.

The family name is a combination of the words "shell" and "shelter", as its single member has a shell that is presumably used as a form of shelter, similarly to real-world snails.
Tumidoculum is possibly derived from the Latin word "tumido", meaning swollen.
