The Pikmin encounter Dwarf Red Bulborbs and a Red Bulborb in The Distant Spring.

The Distant Spring is the fourth accessible area in the Pikmin 1 game. The terrain is mostly aquatic here and has some unique creatures. This land also is home to most of Captain Olimar's missing ship parts, which there are 10. In Pikmin 2, the Perplexing Pool is based off of a similar layout from this land.
