Yellow Wollyhop/Locations

The following is a list of locations where Yellow Wollyhops can be found.

Pikmin

Areas

• The Distant Spring - 3 out of the 7 Yellow Wollyhops do not respawn once defeated
  • There are seven Yellow Wollyhops in this area. Three Wollyhops can be found along the stretch of water towards the west of the map, near the Zirconium Rotor and Gluon Drive. The first of these three Wollyhops is near the two stick bridges, and the other two are closer to the white bramble gate near the Zirconium Rotor; one at each corner of the gate. The fourth Wollyhop is located slightly south-west from the landing site. It is on the large patch of land leading towards the Smoky Progg egg. The final three Wollyhops can be found directly south from the landing site, with one being on the bit of land and the other two being in the water.

Challenge Mode

• The Distant Spring
  • There are ten Yellow Wollyhops in this challenge mode's area. The first Wollyhop can be found directly south from the landing site, in the body of water adjacent. The second Wollyhop is located in the same body of water, but is instead east from the landing site. It's closer to the Yellow Onion. The third Wollyhop can be found next to the stick bridge on the island towards the south-east (where the Massage Machine is discovered). The fourth Wollyhop is located on the small patch of land towards the south, directly where the Smoky Progg egg is in story mode. The fifth Wollyhop can be found slightly west from the previous Wollyhop, in the water. The sixth Wollyhop is located in the northern-most tree trunk, specifically the one with two trunks. The bigger of the two tree trunks holds a red 10-pellet, and the smaller one (to the right) is where the Wollyhop is. It's where the Pilot's Seat is discovered. The seventh, eighth and ninth Wollyhops are all found in the body of water towards the north-east. They are surrounding the square-shaped platform. One of these three Wollyhops is on a sandy patch of land alongside a Pearly Clamclamp. The final Wollyhop is located slightly south from the previous three, in the small body of water
• The Final Trial
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this challenge mode's area. It can be found in the body of water near the center of the map. It is slightly west from the island with the two stick bridges.

Pikmin 2

Areas

• Awakening Wood
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in this area. They are both located in the body of water towards the south-west. They are around the small island adjacent to the Air Brake.
• Perplexing Pool - One despawns after day 10
  • There are six Yellow Wollyhops in this area. The first Wollyhop can be found directly east from the Citadel of Spiders cave entrance. However, after day 10, this Yellow Wollyhop is replaced with three Shearwigs. The second Wollyhop is located north of the aforementioned cave, in the body of water. It's to the right of the stick bridge, close to the Optical Illustration. The third Wollyop can be found along the stream of water, leading past the electric gate where the Optical Illustration is discovered. This Wollyhop is slightly north from the seesaw blocks. The fourth Wollyhop is located south from the landing site, in the body of water behind the black bramble gate. It is adjacent to the small patch of land the Onion Replica is buried under. The final two Wollyhops can both be found in the water towards the east from the landing site. This is the water body which can be drained. The pair of Wollyhops will be at the southern side of this water body, relatively close to where the Fortified Delicacy is buried.
• Wistful Wild
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this area. It can be found in the body west from the landing site, near where the Gatling Groink spawns. It's the body of water with the poisonous stick bridge.

Caves

• Citadel of Spiders
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 2, with one holding either the Creative Inspiration, the Activity Arouser or the Milky Team depending on the version.
• Hole of Heroes
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 6.

Challenge Mode

• Creator's Garden
  • One can be seen on sublevel 1, holding the Aquatic Mine.
• Bully Den
  • One can be seen on sublevel 1, holding the Petrified Heart.

Areas

• Tropical Wilds
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in this area, and they can both be found relatively close to each other. They are both located in the stretch of water towards the north, near where the Face Wrinkler and Slapstick Crescent are discovered.
• Garden of Hope
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in this area, and they are both located close to the landing site. The pair of Wollyhops can be found in the area behind the crystal wall in the landing site. Past the wall, they will be slightly west - near the dirt wall and body of water.
• Twilight River
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in this area, and they can both be found in the first main segment. The pair of Wollyhops are in the area behind the electric gate, where the pile of 30 bridge fragments are discovered. One Wollyhop will be near the Burgeoning Spiderwort, and the other will be in the small body of water adjacent to the Dapper Blob (inside the large crystal).

Side Stories

Olimar's Assignment

• Inside Forest
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this story's area. It is located towards the south of the map, near the 10 Blue Pikmin sprouts. It's slightly north of a small body of water, containing a Water Dumple as well as a Cupid's Grenade and a pile of Gold Nuggets.

Olimar's Comeback

• First Part Found
  • There are four Yellow Wollyhops in this story's area. A pair of Wollyhops can be found directly south from where Olimar and Louie start the story. They are both in the small section between the Kingcaps and Spotcaps, and the electric gate. This is where the lone Swooping Snitchbug would be in story mode. The other two Wollyhops are located towards the east of the area, east of the Red Onion. They are close to the bottom of the slide from the Dapper Blob in story mode, as well as being near where the multiple Skeeterskates and Water Dumples are located in story mode. There is a dirt wall nearby.
• Team Monster Hunt
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this story's area. It can be found on the opposite side of the crystal wall from where Olimar and the Yellow Onion start. It's where the pile of brown bridge fragments are discovered in story mode (behind a dirt wall instead).

• Tropical Forest Remix
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this stage, and it can be found near where Brittany starts the stage. It is located on the opposite side of the dirt wall from where Brittany starts.
• The Rustyard
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in this stage, and they can both be found close to each other. They are both located in the center of the dried mote, directly north from where Alph starts and south from Brittany starts the stage.
• Forgotten Cove
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this stage. It is located on the edge the large body of water towards the west, near the Heroine's Tear and multiple Juicy Gaggles.
• Clockwork Chasm
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this stage. It can be found directly south from the SPERO, in the squared section the Pocked Airhead is discovered. The Wollyhop is also near 5 Blue Pikmin sprouts.

Battle Enemies!

• Thirsty Desert
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this stage, and it can be found in the body of water surrounding the Rock Onion. It's the body of water near where Brittany starts the stage, and the Wollyhop shares this space with two Wolpoles.
• Tropical Wilds Remix
  • There are four Yellow Wollyhops in this stage. A pair of Wollyhops can be found where they are located in story mode; in the body of water towards the north of the level. They don't share the exact space as in story mode, but they are in roughly the same space. The third Wollyhop can be found near the Blue Onion, in the body of water slightly north-west. The final Wollyhop is located in the same body of water, but towards the north-east instead. It is near where the multiple Puckering Blinnow would be in story mode, underneath the waterfall.
• Fortress of Festivity
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in this stage, and they can both be found south-west from the Master Onion. They are both in a large, open, section of the stage near a geyser (encased in a crystal).
• Forgotten Cove
  • There are four Yellow Wollyhops in this stage. One Wollyhop can be found in the body of water towards the east of the stage, near the Burgeoning Spiderwort. It's the next body of water across from the Blue Onion. The other three Wollyhops are all located in the largest body water towards the west of the stage. The trio are slightly west from the other Burgeoning Spiderwort.

Bingo Battle

• Stagnant Sea
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout A. They are both located on the island across the fragment bridge from the islands the two Onions are at. One Wollyhop will be at the end of each fragment bridge.
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in layout B. The Wollyhop is in the center of the island across from the fragment bridges; guarding a Zest Bomb (encased in a large crystal).
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout C. They are both located in the middle of the stage, in the body of water. The pair of Wollyhops are surrounding a Citrus Lump.
• Rusted Labyrinth
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout A. The can both be found in the circular segments at the end of the slides (made from tubes) towards the north and the south. The metal tube leads directly into the circular segment, whereas the brown tube leads directly to the exit of the circular segment. The two Wollyhops will be guarding either a Red or a Blue Marble.
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout B. They share the same location as layout A, but instead guard a single Yellow Marble each.
• Jigsaw Fortress
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in layout A. It can be found next to the dirt wall on the brown jigsaw floor, with the red border. This is in the opposite direction from the Onion on the floor.
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in layout B. It shares the same location as layout A, but instead of a dirt wall it is now an electric gate. This gate guards an Insect Condo.
• Blooming Terrace
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout C. The first Wollyhop is located down the straight pathway south from the Onion towards the east, leading to a Bulborb. The other Wollyhop can be found down the opposite straight pathway, north from the other Onion. This path leads to another Bulborb.
• Parched Brook
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout A. They can both be found in the middle of the dried mote, in between the two fragment bridges.
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout B. They are both located in the non-raised part of the section the Onion in is, specifically the one with a grassy terrain. They will either be towards the south-east or the north-west.
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops in layout C. They can both be found in the raised part of the grassy terrain-segment, on the opposite side of the dirt wall. This raised section holds a Zest Bomb.

Pikmin 4

Areas

• Blossoming Arcadia
  • There are four Yellow Wollyhops in this area. The first Wollyhop is located in the body of water surrounding the 'Misshapen Pond' base, towards the west next to the Unfloatable Boat. The second Wollyhop can be found slightly west from the previous Wollyhop, on land near the Harmonic Synthesizer. The other two Wollyhops are located underneath the sprinkler near the 'Sunwashed Plateau' base. They are guarding the Wayward Moon.

Caves

• Secluded Courtyard
  • There are two Yellow Wollyhops on sublevel 2. The first Wollyhop can be found along the western path from the base, in the area the two water spouts and the Talisman of Life (Cherry Blossom) are discovered. The second Wollyhop is located along the eastern path from the base, inside the rectangular body of water near the pile of 15 raw materials.

Dandori Challenges

• Test Tubs
  • There is one Yellow Wollyhop in this challenge. It can be found in the section directly south from the base, inside of the basin (with no water) alongside the Stately Rubber Cutie and the Planetary Rubber Cutie.

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale

• Serene Shores
  • There are three Yellow Wollyhops in this tale's area. The first Wollyhop is located in the western-most part of the area, close to the 'Blossoming Dunes' base. It is in the body of water next to the hanging Flarlic alongside a Wolpole. The next Wollyhop can be found north of the previous Wollyhop, on the opposite side of the potted plant. The final Wollyhop is located on the raised section slightly east, alongside some water spouts and the Flarlic.

Leafswirl Lagoon

• Downpour Thicket - Area C
  • There are four Yellow Wollyhops in this area. The first Wollyhop can be found during the area's first cutscene, just after Olimar passes a sparklium flower. The second Wollyhop is located in the section after the area's second cave, the section containing the 5 Red Sparklium Seeds on the tall plant. The third Wollyhop is inside of the area's third cave which is just past the previous Wollyhop. Defeating this Yellow Wollyhop reveals the Personal Odor Shield. The fourth and final Wollyhop can be found west of the Menacing Crusher, on the opposite side of the trowel.
