The '''tusked blowhog''' family is a family of boar-like enemies introduced in ''[[Pikmin 4]]''. The [[Tusked Blowhog]] itself is currently the only known member of this family. Members are strangely in the same genus as members of the [[Blowhog family]], the ''Sus'' genus, suggesting the two families are closely related.

The Tusked Blowhog is an enemy introduced in ''Pikmin 4''. When something catches its attention, it will charge, in a similar way to [[Oatchi|Oatchi's]] [[Rush]]. During its charge, it can grab up to 3 Pikmin, which it will eat at the end of its charging. Its charges can also destroy [[jar]]s.

== Naming ==
The family's name, ''tusked blowhog'', is named after its only member the Tusked Blowhog.

The genus name, ''Sus'', is a real genus of wild and domestic pigs which is what the Tusked Blowhog resembles. This genus is also shared with all the members of the [[Blowhog family]] due to fact that they all also resemble pigs.
