Isn't the butterfly supposed to be a White Spectralid but with no legs and is bigger than usual. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by The WaPikmin • (talk) • (contribs)
- Nope. Compare: File:Treasure in a Bottle 6.jpg vs. File:White spectralids.png. This butterfly doesn't have a fuzzy body, its antenna don't end in red eyes, the wing pattern doesn't even have any blue, and like you said, it lacks legs and is bigger than usual. They're pretty different. Plus, when you consider the Fiery Blowhog and the Red Bulborb are nearly-exact copies of their Pikmin 3 versions, it wouldn't make sense for this Spectralid to be weirdly different but still the same creature. I think it's just meant to be a natural-looking butterfly to better tie in with the real-world aspect, whereas the enemies and exaggerated and cartoony in nature because they're like "classic" Pikmin antagonists, in a classic Pikmin setting. — {EspyoT} 12:08, 31 December 2016 (EST)
