Talk:Ship part
I'v noticed that some parts when collected can be seen on or in the ship while others do not appear at all (mandatory or not), should the parts that can be seen be listed, You can tell when a part can be seen because after the part collected theme a little "ting" can be heard indicating the part appearing, So should those be listed, on the respective pages as well as images showing where the part appears, and the "ting" mentioned here? A prime example of this is the Eternal Fuel Dynamo and the Automatic Gear, both parts are Mandatory, but only the Eternal Fuel Dynamo can be see in the ship as well as the "ting" while the Automatic Gear has neither.Pikmin Theories (talk) 20:33, 27 August 2016 (EDT)
- There was actually a "todo" somewhere to add to the infoboxes whether or not each piece changes the appearance of the Dolphin. If somebody could get a list of which pieces do and don't appear, I could add that to the infoboxes, and probably to the "ship part" articles as well. — {EspyoT} 07:21, 28 August 2016 (EDT)

- Does not appear: Positron Generator, Extraordinary Bolt, Shock Absorber, Automatic Gear, Gravity Jumber, Analog Computer, Repair-type Bolt, Zirconium Rotor, Pilot's Seat, Nova Blaster, Space Float, Massage Machine, UV Lamp, Secret Safe. Phineas81707 (talk) 19:55, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
- I've used Dolphin to check if the ones that don't appear actually appear, but somewhere hidden inside the ship. But nope, they just don't appear altogether. I want to add the "does or doesn't appear" info to each ship part's article, but I think it'd be more complete if every once also mentioned where it appears on the ship. Think you can do that? It should be easy to see with YouTube videos, but I personally don't have the time... — {EspyoT} 16:26, 22 October 2016 (EDT)
- Parts that appear also have a little flourish when they do so. I'll probably add it to another of my pages, so the indent isn't as confusing as it could be. Phineas81707 (talk) 22:35, 22 October 2016 (EDT)

Ship part descriptions[edit]
To preface, I'm using this page as a catch-all for all of the individual parts' pages. Anyway, I've noticed that all of the pages (except for the Main Engine's, for some reason) feature both the in-game descriptions on the page, and images of the in-game text. Is it really necessary to have both? It seems awfully redundant. Burrhead2 (talk) 15:36, March 13, 2022 (EDT)
