- I am tempted to put this talk page up for deletion. The MarioGalaxy2433g5 {talk/contribs/Logs} 23:44, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
- "It has a strange allure to it". Olimar has a destructive side to him, doesn't he. Also, could the space pirates be a reference to metroid? Solar flute
- Space pirates is pretty generic. I don't think they had Metroid in mind.--Prezintenden
Hold on... If Olimar had this, why didn't he fire it at the meteor that crashed into his ship to save all the fuss of 30 days of risking his life... Then, if he didn't end up on the planet, he would have been with Louie, then stoped him from eating the golden pikpik carrots... Which would have stoped his company from going into bankrupt... Wow, small mistakes affect a lot of things... Dockywho 19:33, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Could someone remove this from the Mandatory ship parts category[edit]
I tried to remove it from there but couldn't Kebbo (talk) 20:51, February 25, 2023 (EST)
- This is actually quite a complicated situation. The category is added by Template:Infobox ship part, which by default categorizes pages in Category:Mandatory ship parts, but adding
mandatory=no
in the template parameters instead categorizes it in Category:Optional ship parts. The problem in this article comes from the fact that the Nova Blaster also appears in Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and Pikmin 3 Deluxe ship parts use the same template as Pikmin ship parts, which means that there are two instances of the template, and the Pikmin 3 Deluxe instance doesn't containmandatory=no
because it doesn't apply for that game, which means the page gets categorized into Category:Mandatory ship parts. I'm actually not sure how to solve this; it would require some complicated changes to the template. — Soprano(talk) 22:47, February 25, 2023 (EST)
