I have a question. In the strategy category, it says that all pikmin can kill it by landing on it. Does this include the winged pikmin, which can't squash a dwarf bulborb for instance? Ford4385 (talk) 19:38, 25 February 2015 (EST)Ford4385
- Throughout playing Pikmin 3, I noticed that the Desiccated Skitter Leaves will not become active if a leader is nearby. This may be kind of obvious, as it is mentioned in a data file, but if a leader is standing nearby, the Desiccated Skitter Leaves are unable to attack Pikmin at all. The problem is that the only place on the Desiccated Skitter Leaf page that describes this behavior is in the "Gallery" section. Even then, it still isn't very detailed. — Mariotime315 Let's-a go!
- I just checked, and they have a bit of a different behavior. They're scared of leaders, and if one is near a hiding Desiccated Skitter Leaf, it will continue to hide to avoid being detected. They can come out of hiding if a leader bumps into them, though. If they're not hiding, then they'll run around in a panic, in an attempt to evade the leaders. This doesn't stop them from eating Pikmin in my experience, but does make them much less likely to do so. Finally, if there are no leaders nearby, only Pikmin, then they are not scared whatsoever, and will aggressive jump at the Pikmin right away. — {EspyoT} 14:59, 25 November 2016 (EST)
