The Spiny Coppeller ({{j|トビトゲムシ|Tobi Toge Mushi|Flying Spiny Bug}}) is an [[enemy]] in {{hp}}. It is a purple and, as the name would imply, spiked version of the [[Coppeller]]. It acts the same as the regular Coppellers, except it cannot be defeated by Pikmin, since any that touch its body get stabbed and killed. It is also never found holding an object, unlike the normal Coppeller. Despite Olimar calling it a subspecies of the Coppeller, the two belong to different genus.

== Behavior ==
The Spiny Coppeller doesn’t directly interact with the player, instead it travels on a pre-determined path. They also generally appear in groups. When touched, it will damage the player and their Pikmin.
