The '''shop''' is a feature of {{pb}} where in-game items can be bought for [[coin]]s or real-world money. Various types of items are available, organized into different sections. The contents of the shop have changed frequently over the game's lifespan. The shop is accessed from a button on the [[Pikmin Bloom interface#Main menu|main menu]].

===Items of the Month===
The Items of the Month section of the shop contains banners for items that are used during the current month's events, such as Special Mission Tickets or Mii costumes. Items that appear here can be bought from this section of the shop, but all items also appear in the limited time offers or Mii costumes sections of the shop, and can be purchased from either place. The game will scroll through all of the banners for the items that are currently available, and clicking on the banner opens up a menu with more details about what was clicked on. Clicking on a Mii costumes banner scrolls down to the Mii costumes section of the shop.

This pack costs {{icon|Coin}} 0 coins, and its contents are random each day: either 5 [[nectar]] or 10 [[petal]]s, where the nectar and petals can be any color of regular flowers or any color of the Flower of the Month. It can only be purchased once per day, and once it is purchased, the section disappears until it resets at midnight in the player's local time zone.

Upgrades can also be bought with real-world money, with the price being the same for all upgrades: $1.99 USD / $2.79 CAD / ¥250 / $2.99 AUD / €2.49 / ₱99.00 / £1.99. As a result, the value of coins versus real money is vastly different for each upgrade type.

The postcard storage upgrade was added to this section on {{date|23|June|2022}}.

Initial flower petal storage capacity increased from 200 to 300 on {{date|11|July|2022}}, and maximum flower petal storage capacity increased from 1000 to 1200 on {{date|19|July|2022}}.

On {{date|14|September|2022}}, the 5 upgrades costing real-world money were removed and the 5 upgrades costing coins were added. On {{date|7|December|2022}}, the upgrades costing real-world money were re-added back to the game as an alternative to the upgrades costing coins.

On {{date|16|February|2022}}, the upgrades costing coins for Pikmin, nectar, and flower petals changed amounts and prices. Before this date, a Pikmin storage upgrade cost 180 coins and increased the limit by 20, a nectar storage upgrade cost 180 coins and increased the limit by 25, and a flower petal storage upgrade cost 180 coins and increased the limit by 25.

On {{date|29|January|2024}}, the maximum capacity for Pikmin storage increased from 2000 to 3000. Any upgrades past 2000 can only be purchased with real-world money.

On {{date|1|July|2024}}, the maximum capacity for postcard storage increased from 2000 to 3000. Any upgrades past 2000 can only be purchased with real-world money.

===Mii costumes===
This section contains costumes for [[Mii]]s. It was added to the shop several months after the game's release, initially appearing inconsistently between {{date|11|July}} and {{date|22|July|2022}}, before becoming a permanent part of the shop on {{date|23|July|2022}}. On {{date|13|October|2022}} (as part of [[update]] 55.0), the section was renamed from "Mii Items" to "Mii Costumes" and was reduced in size, only showing 6 featured items, and a button labeled "See other items" was added to link to the Mii editor, where the rest of the items can be bought from.

The [[detector]] was added to this section in [[update|version]] 45.0; before this update, detectors could only be individually bought from the [[Pikmin Bloom interface#Detector|detector menu]].

The [[weekly challenge ticket]] and [[mushroom recharge ticket]] were added on the introduction of these items.

On {{date|18|January|2023}}, the amounts and prices of petals changed. Before this date, they were bought in packs of 180 instead of 200, and cost 50, 150, 200, and 180 coins for white, yellow, blue, and red petals respectively.

On {{date|1|February|2023}}, red nectar, yellow nectar, and blue nectar were added to this section.

The [[flower planting accelerator]] was added to this section in update 63.0/63.1 on the introduction of the item.

A 10-pack of mushroom recharge tickets and the 10-pack of detectors were added in update 66.0.
