I know, because the S.S. Dolphin II keeps insisting, that this is a scale from an aquatic life-form indigenous to this planet. But what it really reminds me of is the shield I used to imagine carrying when I was a young boy playing fantasy make-believe. So that's what I've officially registered it as. It's real now!
