The iron fence is an obstacle first appearing in [[Pikmin 4]]. Only the player and the Pikmin can pass through them, leaving [[Oatchi]] or [[Moss]] behind. Treasures don't fit through them either, except small ones like [[Nugget]]s.

In the [[Pikmin comic]] strip "Strength in Numbers?", Oatchi gets stuck trying to follow the new Rescue Officer through an iron fence. The Pikmin then try to pull him out from both directions.
