The '''Dandelion''', although an all-too-common weedy plant in the real world, is somewhat rare in the [[Pikmin series|''Pikmin'' games]], appearing in only two overworld locations, one cave, and seven challenge mode levels. Dandelions are used merely for scenery and do not affect gameplay. [[Seeding Dandelion]]s can also be found in the series, but only affects gameplay in {{hp}}. The Dandelion is among the few organisms in the ''Pikmin'' series named after its {{w|Taraxacum|real world counterpart}}.

In {{p3}}, Dandelions evolve from each passing day from bud, to flower, to finally a Seeding Dandelion.
