Pikmin Puzzle Card[edit]

There have been a lot of edits adding and removing Pikmin Puzzle Card from this page, so let's discuss whether it should be included or not. I personally think it should be included, as although it is a part of Pikmin 2, it functions more as a separate game that you access through Pikmin 2. — Soprano(talk) 18:25, May 12, 2024 (EDT)

Due to its ability to function being tied to having a Japanese Pikmin 2 game disk inside the Gamecube the GBA running Pikmin Puzzle Card is connected to, I cannot see it as anything other than an extension of the Japanese Gamecube version of Pikmin 2. I do think it's also worth noting that, to the knowledge of my limited technical understandings, almost all of Pikmin Puzzle Card's data is stored inside the JPN Pikmin 2 disk. -Gulliblepikmin 19:44, May 12, 2024 (EDT)
I mean, Pikmin Adventure has its own entry and that is irrefutably contained within Nintendo Land. --PopitTart (talk) 18:07, May 14, 2024 (EDT)

Split?[edit]

I've been looking over this page for a while now, and I feel like it's really unclear what it's trying to be. On one hand, it's a directory for wiki readers to quickly access Pikmin franchise media. On the other hand, it's a category for wiki editors to catalogue articles about games. These two purposes really are not at all the same, and have been resulting in an unhelpful identity crisis. Just look at the back-and forth edit history of adding things because they're notable Pikmin media that readers may want links to, and then removing them for not being games. This one page is documenting two totally distinct lists of articles; one containing Stage Debut and Nintendo Land, and the other containing Pikmin Safari and Pikmin 100. I think the page ought to be split, with Category:Games acting as just that: a category for game related articles, and a new page titled something along the lines of "Pikmin media navigation" containing the user-facing Pikmin directory that would be linked on the Main Page. --PopitTart (talk) 21:30, July 21, 2024 (EDT)
