New Play Control! Pikmin 2, is part of the New Play Control! series. It was released on 12th March, 2009, in Japan, 24th April, 2009 in Europe, 14th May, 2009 in Australia and will be released during 2009 in America. Like it's gamecube twins, it too has the same box art for the same regions, but is in a New Play Control border.

New Features

The most notable feature, is the new control scheme, such as pointing at the screen and pressing the A button to throw Pikmin, or pressing the 1 or 2 buttons to use sprays, unlike the Gamecube classics. It also has widescreen support and the graphics are slightly enhanced.The title screen, also has Nintendo copyrights from the years 2004-2009; but the gamecube version only has 2004 copyrights. There is no gameplay differences, it is just an enhanced version of Pikmin 2.
