This link leads to a Pikmin Resource Pack for Minecraft. It's near completion, and has quite a few sounds that are not mine (They belong to SnowSong on the MCF). You can play it if you want, but don't distribute. I have dubbed it: PikSong V.1. Recently, however, Ymmot392 has recently ripped out sound files from Pikmin, and I will be redoing the pack with those.

I am JPMRocks7, but I also go by Jpmrocks, JPM, and JPM "Crocodile" Rocks. I love the Pikmin Series a lot. I own every Pikmin game thus far, including Gamecube and Wii Versions for Pikmin 1 and 2, and Pikmin 3 for WiiU. I also own Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Nintendo Land, both, as I call them, Pikmin side games.
On the wiki, I mostly relay info from admins to wikians, and from Pikmin wiki to Wikia staff. I also work on navegation and marking out perameters for projects. (I also like to organize things, as you could possibly tell by me Table of Contents just below).
My greatest accomplishments are as follows:
- I did a no-death run of Pikmin on my first try
- I got a platinum medal for the co-op version of Tropical Wilds by myself.
Well with that said, my best Pikmin Records are listed below.
Now then,
Captains, Dismissed!

Pikmin Game Idea (Stand Alone): Pikmin Arena
Pikmin Arena would be a stand alone game in the Pikmin Series, mainly for online competition. There are two problems with this, however. One, Nintendo doesn't really have that strong of an online server system. Two, Pikmin 3 can actually struggle running 100 pikmin plus captain moving around (You'll know, when there's a lagg spike in-game). Other than these two giant issues, it seems quite possible.
Plot / Goal
There is no story to the game, it's just fighting online (or offline with CPUs/local multiplayer). There would be a few game modes, Capture the Flag, Bingo Battle, Treasure Hunter, Kill Monsters, and PvP. Most of the these modes would also have the toggleable ability for 1v1, 2v2, and 4-way fights, which will be explained in-depth in a bit.
Capture the Flag would function like the Victory Macadamia in Pikmin 3's Bingo Battle. Capture the enemy's flag. CTF can have 1v1 matches or 2v2 matches.
Bingo Battle functions just like it would in Pikmin 3. Can feature 1v1, 2v2, or 4-way fights.
Treasure Hunter is a timed game, which ever side can collect the most treasure before time ends. Can have 1v1 or 4-way fights.
Kill Monsters is just like the mission mode version in Pikmin 3. Can have 1v1, 2v2, or 4-way fights.
PvP is just as it sounds, people fighting other people, either down their captain, or destroy their army. Features 1v1, or 4-way fights.
Pikmin
So, a reason I had mentioned about this being sifficult is that pikmin can easily lagg a game into submission, as each little carrot is moving individually. My solution is that there is still only 100 pikmin in the field, evenly divided up.
You also can customize your army to your needs before each round. Choosing between all seven colors of the veggie rainbow, with certain amounts of each. Each player-count of each match will also differ in pikmin total, 1v1 is 50v50, 2v2 is 25+25v25+25, and 4-way is 25v25v25v25. It can get intense.
The "team color" is determined by the color of the pikmin's flower (similar to Pikmin 3's Bingo Battle). Team Green would get green flowers, Team Red gets red flowers, etc. Each home base is also an onion/SS Drake that it colored to the team's color.
Characters
Of course, an important part of online cometitions is character customization. Players are given the "Koppain Space Suit" as their avatar's default, with their Mii as their head. The default suit is colorable between 16 different colors. Players can unlock different space suit types from completing achievements. The different suits are:
- Koppain (Default)
- Koppain Captain (Default, but with a gold star)
- Hocotatian (Olimar/Louie's suit from Pikmin 3)
- Hocotation President (Mr Prez's, but HD)
- Brawler 09 (Olimar's skin from SSBB)
- Brawler U (Olimar's SSBU skin)
- Red Leader (Suit that resembles red pikmin suit from Nintendo Land)
- Yellow Leader (Same as Red Leader, but yellow)
- Blue Leader (Same as Red, but Blue)
- White Leader (You get the drill)
- Crash Lander (Olimar's Pikmin 1 suit, but HD. Also features tears and stitches)
- Treasure Hunter (Solid gold Space Suit)
- Onion-Head (Default suit, but with a Pikmin 3 onion for the helmet/head)
- Junker (Default suit, but with Pikmin 2's ship's deploy pod as the helmet)
- SPERO (Default suit, but with SPERO for a helmet)
Many more ideas are to come, but there's quite a bit of customization. Fun fun.
Mini-Map
The minimap would be similar to minimaps in the Mario Kart franchise; transparent, and in a corner of the player's screen. Enemies would be represented by green circles, treasure and fruit with white stars, and enemy players and their pikmin with team-colored dots.
Maps
Many of the maps in the game would be based of off already existing maps, such as 2P Battle in Pikmin 2, and Bingo Battle in Pikmin 3. A few map ideas I have are:
- Battle Beach: Two sand castles on a beach, right next to the ocean (like inches from the water). The side of the castles that faces the water is worn down and flooded. Miscellanious loot and such is scattered about the sand.
- Canopy Keep: The canopy of a tree, it's branches creating pathways and platforms. Pikmin thrown over the side of the paths are killed. Very leafy, leaves blocking the player's screen in some parts.
- Desert of Death: A flat, open arena, save a few jagged rocks and cliffs. Features a large cactus in the middle.
- Frozen Fall-Out: A snowy and iced over, hilly arena, covered with scrap metal and crystals.
Pikmin Game Idea: Pikmin; Collector's Edition
Seeing the power of WiiU, I feel this could be done. Basically, it's Pikmin 1, 2 and 3, all on a single disc, with a continuous storyline. 1 and 2 are also HD remastered with the graphics from 3. There will be changes to gameplay and some visuals, however.
Gameplay Changes
While stories will be the same, the mechanics of games will have changed. For example, the controls are modified to fit Pikmin 3's control scheme. Many old bugs from Pikmin 1 and 2 will also be fixed (Sorry speed runners, blues will have to have purpose). Pikmin AI will also be greatly improved, bomb rocks won't be so glitchy. Onions will also fuse, much like their Pikmin 3 variety, but instead (at the end of the game) divide up once the game is completed.
Visual Changes
Pikmin
In the original, Pikmin, most of the game will be the same, albiet HD. White and Black Bramble gates will be switched (as black gates are weaker in 2). Bulbears and their dwarves will be replaced by orange bulborbs. Fire and water geysers also appear to be small holes in the round, rather than little rings of stone sticking out of the ground. Olimar's suit is also torn and patched up, and the Dolphin and it's parts are burned, charred, and slightly buried (this adds probably 5-10 seconds of collecting the part). The Automatic gear also has some cracks running through it. Day cycles are also similar to Pikmin 3's (the lighting and music alterations). Bosses also have opening cutscenes.
Pikmin 2
Similar to Pikmin, but now Pikmin 2 HD. Onions fuse and defuse. Treasures are now also slightly dirt covered and grimey. ALL Pikmin 2 monsters are included. Instead of the beady long legs appearing at the Perplexing Pool, the baldy long legs appears. Cave enterances now are large, chunky, piles of rocks with a cave mouth, instead of a single rock with a hole. Exit geysers now look like Pikmin 3 geysers. Poison pipes are now like fire geysers, but with poison.
There will be of course, 3 save file options, each with a day set up like the one from Pikmin 3. Each one also has "Piklopedia Ultima", which keeps track of all enemies, ship parts, treasures, and fruits from all 3 games, and organizes them neatly, with all kinds of info. Starts as "Olimar's Findings", then becomes "Piklopedia", then becomes the "Piklopedia Ultima".
Pikmin Game Idea: Smoke'D Waters DLC
Smoke'D Waters takes place during/after the events of Pikmin 3. Whilst exploring the planet, Alph, Brittany, and Charlie recieve a second distress signal, not that of Olimar and Louie. Instead, it comes from an island further right, in the middle of the ocean, on a large island. They named this island the Sunken Factory, due to the smoke that bursts from the surrounding waters, as if there was an old factory below the depths.
Synopsis/Overview
Whilst exploring the island, the three captains discovered a new fruit, the Imperial Nugget, a lychee. They found three of these red fruits, guarded by gattling groinks and careening dirigibugs, as well as pyroclasmic slooches, fiery blowhogs, and fiery bulblaxes. Fire spouts mixed with the clouds of smoke and pools of water make this place a hellish warzone. But, even though the captains discovered new creatures and new fruits, they hadn't even discovered the lord of the land.
They finally approached a pool of water where the distress signal came from, a large pillar of smoke bursting from the pool. Suddenly, the pool exploded as a massive half machine, half fish monster emerging. It had four legs, one being robotic. It had a headlight-like eye, and massive metal pipes bursting from its back, smoking. Out of it's sides were machine gun-like weapons. It fired two large heat-seaking missiles at the captains, which dived out of the way with their pikmin. The Battling Gatfish.
After defeating the amphibious robotic fish, the beast coughed up two objects. One being, the Insect Fortress, a pineapple worth five days worth of food. The other was Captain O'Dell, a Koppain who crashed into the planet after a run-in with space pirates. With his ship now completely destroyed, O'Dell asks Alph, Brittany and Charlie if he can join their crew and assist them with their fruit hunting quest.
Rewards
- Two new fruits, the Imperial Nugget and the Insect Fortress
- Captain O'Dell, a reskin for Charlie
- A new story mode area, the Sunken Factory
- A new challenge mode area, Volcanic Sea
- A new Bingo Battle Area, Heated Shoreside
O'Dell, or "Character D"
O'Dell is the scrapped "Character D" when pictures of the captains were first released. His space suit is similar, if not identical to Charlie's, but skinnier, and with lavender trims, not green. He has dirty-blonde, if not yellow-greenish hair that covers his eyes, and has a quite deep voice, which is rarely used as he is a quiet person, speaking with only "Yes" or "No", or the more heard silent "..."
Real-World Tie-Ins
Smoke'D Waters takes place in a Hawaiin-eque island to the east of the current continent (which is based off of New Zeland), most likely an island of Japan or Hawaii. I chose this as the setting as both are known to have volcanic activy, as they both reside in the "Ring of Fire", a ring of volcanoes beneath the Pacific Ocean. I also chose lychees and pineapples as the fruit as they are both indigenous to Japan and Hawaii (technically, lychees and pineapples were from China, which sent them to Japan and Hawaii, where they grew far better). I also picked a "volcanic/industrious" themed terrain, as the Battling Gatfish is a half-machine half-catfish creature. The robotic half is made from car-parts, most notoriously, a car engine, which gives off large amounts of smoke (Hence the "Smoke" part of "Smoke'D Waters". The gatfish itself is also based off of a real-world species of catfish that can walk on land for days, to find new sources of water. All in all, the gatfish is a combination of the Man-At-Legs and the Gatling Groink, inspired by a chat on the Pikmin Wiki's skype call (the discussion was about boss ideas for Pikmin 3).
