A friend of mine said that somewhere on Pikipedia, well, you know how if you leave Pikmin in the ground too long, they turn into flowers? A friend of mine said somewhere on Pikipedia it said if you leave them in the ground too long, they're flower heads wither and turn back into leafs. Where is this? I tried the Nectar and Pikmin section... Tarantulian 01:02, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't know where it's mentioned here, although it should probably be put on the Pikmin family page, but it mentions that in the instruction manuals, and it definitely does happen. —Jimbo Jambo
There's one step in between. Once they've been flowers for too long, they disappear and turn into tiny seeds, then grow back to a full leaf Pikmin again (At least, in Pikmin 1). Not quite sure how long the seed phase is, but I'm 95% certain that I watched it happen a few years ago.--Prezintenden 11:12, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah they grow flowers a seed falls and a leaf Pikmin comes up... But it takes quite a while... ~CrystalRedpikminsprite.jpgLucario~ 11:18, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I actually only learned this recently, because of a GameFAQs topic (the one that ended up being a load of random WARNINGs), and I tested it then (in Pikmin 2) shortly after. It takes about half a day, I think.GP 12:57, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I've seen it happen, and it probably would be on the Pikmin Family Page, like Greenpickle suggested Killer bread bug 72 Orange Bulborb Larve.jpg
