A Clover.

Quattrius infectum, this is not the real scientific name given by humans.

The Clover, as you probably know, occurs as a low, green cluster of plants, each usually having a trio of leaves, and on rare occasions are known to produce four or, exceptionally rarely, even more. There are also rotting or dying forms seen of this plant in Pikmin 2, where it can be found similarly in reality. This, as a plant, is not at all useful to the Pikmin Captains. Don't confuse this with the Science Project, a treasure that is actually a four-leaved clover!
