The Illumination Goo (みんなの光?, lit.: "Everyone's Light") is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a used tube of yellow acrylic paint. Like other treasures in the Soulful Artist Series, this one is reminiscent of Yellow Pikmin. The patch of Yellow Pikmin sprouts right next to the treasure is likely the first spot the player will discocver Yellow Pikmin in. It is also found slightly buried, further emphasizing the Yellow Pikmin's ability to dig quickly.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The Illumination Goo is buried in the southern section of the first sublevel of the Crackling Cauldron. Retrieving it is quite simple, since there are only two Shearwigs and a Fiery Blowhog in the way. The nearby Yellow Pikmin sprouts can be used to dig it out faster.

Notes[edit]

Schnauz's notes[edit]

In fortune-telling circles, this is the color of illumination. It has the power to light the path before us, showing us which way to go if we want better luck in life and, specifically, in moneymaking endeavors. I hope the Illumination Goo will light my way!

Olimar's notes[edit]

I heard that Pikmin of the same color were found in the same location. Could there be a correlation? Some creatures change their appearance to match their environment. I'd like to observe what happens to those Pikmin when exposed to other environments...

Louie's notes[edit]

Makes me think of my favorite yellow foods.
