San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo is a zoo located in San Diego, California. Like any zoo, it is primarily an exhibit for a wide variety of animals, considered by many to be the best of its kind in the world.
A promotional event dubbed Pikmin x San Diego Zoo was announced and begun on October 1st, 2024. Similar to Super Nintendo World's hidden Pikmin figures, five Pikmin statues can be found around the zoo's Wildlife Explorers Basecamp area from October 1st to November 28th. This tied into a similar promotion that October where tickets for children under 11 were free.
Guests were encouraged to visit the area's Pikmin pop-up tent near the Spineless Marvels section and check in at the My Nintendo kiosk and redeem 100 Platnium Points by scanning their My Nintendo QR Code, as well as a goodie bag (through November 24th) if they show staff a photo of a hidden Pikmin.[1]
